INGREDIENTS

Rice   1cup (soaked for 4-5 hrs)
Chana dal 1/2 cup
Toor Dal 1/4 cup
Urad dal 2 tbsp
Curd 1/2 cup
Grated bottle gourd 1 Cup
Grated cabbage 1/2 Cup
Grated carrot 1/4 cup
Coriander leaves chopped 3 tbsp
Ginger paste 1/2 tsp
Chopped green chillies 1 or 2
Sugar 1/2 tsp
Brahmins chilli powder 1/2 tsp
Brahmins turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Oil 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Brahmins asafoetida 1 or 2 punches
Jeera 1/2 tsp
Sesame seeds 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves few

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Take Rice Chana dal.Toor dal, urad dal and Grind with curd.
  2. To this mixture add,grated bottle guard,cabbage,carror,coriander leaves,ginger paste,green chillies,suger chilli powder,turmeric powder,oil,and salt,Bake this handovo mixture in oven for 30 minutes at 180 degrees.
  3. For tempering heat oil and put one by one: mustard seeds,asafoetida,jeera,sasaame seeds,curry leaves.

Can be served with green chutney and dates tamarind chutney
